Leaving the corporate world behind
It is with excitement that I leave the corporate world behind and strike it on my own.
I’ve been involved with the internet since about 1994 in various capacities. Everything from HTML and design, development, consulting, project management, sales engineering and web marketing. Some of the companies I have worked for have ranged from Fortune 500, new media agencies, software and consulting firms.
I have been fortunate enough to work on projects that included the following companies: British Airways, MTV, Columbia Pictures, Nike, Audi, GMAC, Nortel Networks, CBS Radio Affiliate, Trend Micro and many more.
I believe that my greatest strength is in seeing the over-all big picture. Software like WordPress, Drupal and Joomla make it very easy for companies to manage their company’s website while having optimal SEO rankings. There’s little need anymore to pay any company large sums of money on design and architecture as hundreds if not thousands of professional themes can be found on the internet. Most of the heavy lifting has been done.
All that is required is installation and implementation and content aggregation to get your website either going or revamped.
